Bai Lin Tea

Bai Lin tea also called Bai Lin Gongfu tea is a kind of Chinese black tea, produced in Bai Lin Town of Fuding City, Fujian Province.

1. History of Bai Lin tea

According to the historical records, in 1759, at least at that time, Bai Lin Town was famous for producing tea and was noted and recorded by local officials.

After 1953, they advocate mechanized production and mainly produced Bai Lin Gongfu tea. Since then, the production and quality of Bai Lin Gongfu tea had a qualitative leap. In 1959, Bai Lin Gongfu tea won an excellent award of the national black tea.
